Quartz sinter is a composite material made from a blend of natural minerals and does not occur naturally in the environment. It is manufactured by combining and compressing several raw materials, such as quartz sand, shale clay, granite, and color pigments. These components are carefully mixed with resin in precise ratios before being subjected to a high-pressure process of around 400 bar. The compressed mixture is then hardened through firing in advanced hybrid ovens at temperatures exceeding 1,200°C. This process results in large, thin slabs that possess exceptional durability and versatility, making quartz sinter suitable for a wide range of applications.
Characteristics of quartz sinter
Quartz sinter offers the authentic appearance of natural stone without the challenges typically involved in installing natural stone slabs, which often require specialized support structures.
