Glazing

The glass in our doors are triple-pane windows. All panes are connected with spacer frames. Two of them are covered with Low-E coatings that provide natural light while helping to limit heat gain and thermal energy loss. It is also possible to choose P4 anti-burglary glass or safety glass VSG 33.1

Types of glazing

There is a wide range of glass options. In our offer one will find energy-saving, sound-absorbing, safety, anti-burglary and sunscreen windows. The most popular ones are milk glass, decorative or mirror glass as well as bronze reflex glass.

Light permeability of the glass:

- Milk – frosted glass 89%
- Mirror glass – 68 %
- Bronze Reflex glass – 42 %

One way mirror glass has a thin layer of reflective coating which allows the glass to reflect half the light that hits it. Simultaneously, half the light also goes straight through. This makes the glass both reflective and transparent. During the day, the outside is bright which means that people who are outside are not able to see what is inside the house. However, during the night when the light is on, the one-way mirror turns into a window. People are able to see through the glass both ways.

To solve the issue, one can apply the one-way vision foil. The foil consists of hundreds of small holes enabling light penetration, which gives the effect of semi-transmission. It is usually used for advertisement on buses or windows.

Lever Handle vs T-bar Pull Handle

1. If you have a Lever handle/normal handle from the outside, you can release the latch without using a key from outside. You simply push the Lever handle down and the latch will retract allowing you to open the door.

2. If you have a T-bar long handle from the outside, it has no way to release the latch because it is only used for pushing and pulling the door. So in this situation from the outside you always need keys to re.lease the latch. Then insert the keys into the key hole and turn to release the latch and open the door.

3. We offer a third additional option if the customer decides to purchase a T-bar. When selecting the T-bar on our website, you can additionally order a Knob Handle that will be installed together with the T-bar from the outside. This door Knob Handle will allow you to release the latch from the outside. So you can order Tbar + Knob which is quite small and looks quite nice.

Multi-point lock system

  • steel hooks and pins
  • Three-dimensional locking with integrated hooks and metal pins for optimal security.
  • Pressure adjustment.

How measure the hole in the wall for door installation

The picture shows the dimensions of the door with the frame and how to measure the opening for door installation. Please take the measure from the floor "tile or wooden panel" inside the house to the top brick level.

The space for the door installation should be between minimum 5mm to 20mm larger than the overall size of the door with the frame. This space is necessary as it should be filled with foam during the installation. This will also ensure insulation between the wall and the door frame.

Your Rating

Sta Pires is a contemporary single front door collection created for people who want a clean, modern entrance with a distinctly architectural feel. It takes the everyday front door and turns it into a carefully designed element that frames the way you enter your home, combining minimalist lines, high‑quality materials, and dependable performance in daily use.

At first glance, Sta Pires impresses with its balanced proportions and understated elegance. The design language is contemporary and streamlined: straight lines, calm surfaces, and detailing that is purposeful rather than decorative for its own sake. Depending on the exact configuration, the door leaf can appear almost flush and monolithic, or feature subtle grooves, horizontal or vertical accents, and carefully placed glazing that brings light into the hallway while preserving privacy. The overall impression is of a door that looks current and design‑driven, yet timeless enough to sit comfortably on the façade for many years.

The construction of Sta Pires is built around a robust, modern door system designed for long‑term stability. The leaf and frame are engineered to resist warping, twisting, and deformation, even under changing temperatures and weather conditions. This structural integrity is crucial at the entrance, where the door is used many times every day. It ensures smooth operation, precise closure, and enduring alignment, so the door continues to feel solid and reliable long after it is installed.

Surface finishes are a key part of the Sta Pires identity. The exterior is treated with high‑quality, weather‑resistant coatings that protect the material while giving the door a sophisticated appearance. You can choose from a wide palette of contemporary colours: deep anthracite or black for a strong, architectural statement; warm greys and taupes for a softer, more subtle look; crisp whites for a fresh, bright entrance; or bespoke tones that match window frames, cladding, or other façade elements. Many models are also available with textured or structured surfaces that add depth and tactility without disrupting the minimalist character.

If you opt for versions with glazing, the glass is carefully integrated as a design feature rather than an afterthought. Vertical or horizontal glass inserts can be narrow and discreet, creating refined light strips, or more generous to brighten the interior. Various glass types are typically available – clear, satin, tinted, or patterned – so you can control the level of transparency and privacy. Combined with the clean lines of the door leaf, these glazed elements add rhythm and lightness to the entrance while maintaining a contemporary look.

Security is a central consideration for Sta Pires. Behind its sleek appearance, the door is designed as a serious protective barrier for your home. The sturdy door leaf and frame can be equipped with multi‑point locking systems that secure the door at several points into the frame, significantly increasing resistance to forced entry. High‑security cylinders, reinforced strike plates, and robust hinges can be specified to meet demanding safety expectations. When the door is closed and locked, it feels firm and uncompromising, so the visual sophistication is matched by real‑world protection.

Thermal comfort and energy performance are also carefully addressed. Sta Pires doors typically incorporate an insulated core and thermally optimized profiles that help reduce heat transfer. Combined with high‑quality perimeter gaskets and a well‑designed threshold, this construction helps keep warmth inside during colder months and reduces heat gain in summer. Effective sealing limits draughts and helps keep out wind‑driven rain, dust, and exterior noise, contributing to a more comfortable and energy‑efficient home without compromising the slim, contemporary aesthetic.

In daily use, Sta Pires is engineered to feel smooth and effortless. High‑grade hinges and precisely matched hardware ensure the door opens and closes with a controlled, reassuring motion, without rattling or flexing. The door feels substantial in the hand yet remains easy to operate for every member of the household. Threshold solutions can be tailored to your needs: low, barrier‑friendly thresholds support step‑free living and modern accessibility standards, while more pronounced options emphasize the transition between outside and inside while still delivering excellent weather protection.

One of the clear advantages of a contemporary door like Sta Pires is its low‑maintenance nature. Thanks to high‑quality materials and durable surface finishes, it does not require the same level of ongoing care as traditional timber doors. There is no regular sanding or repainting cycle to worry about; under normal conditions, occasional cleaning with mild soapy water is enough to keep the surface looking fresh and well cared for. This makes Sta Pires particularly attractive for busy households and for anyone who wants a premium appearance without a demanding maintenance routine.

Design flexibility is built into the Sta Pires concept. Within the contemporary frame, you can choose from different panel layouts, glazing configurations, and detailing options to match your architecture and personal taste. Some designs lean toward pure minimalism with flush surfaces and hidden lines, ideal for modern cubic houses and clean façades. Others introduce horizontal or vertical accents, grooves, or glass strips that add movement and character while staying firmly within a contemporary style. If desired, the door can be combined with fixed side panels or a top light to create a more generous, light‑filled entrance composition.

Hardware choices allow you to refine the final impression right down to the smallest details. Long vertical pull handles underline the height and modern character of the door, giving the entrance a gallery‑like feel and providing a generous, comfortable grip. More compact lever handles offer a familiar, functional solution that still looks clean and up to date. Hardware finishes such as stainless steel, deep black, or colour‑matched tones make it easy to coordinate the door with other exterior elements – from window frames and railings to outdoor lighting and house numbers – resulting in a coherent, well‑composed façade.

Sta Pires contemporary single front doors are ideal for a wide range of residential projects. In new‑build homes, they provide a crisp, modern entrance that immediately elevates the overall design and signals a clear architectural intention. In renovation or upgrade scenarios, they replace outdated doors with a secure, energy‑efficient, and visually striking alternative that can transform the look of the entire front elevation. Whether your home is a compact city townhouse, a semi‑detached family property, or a freestanding modern villa, Sta Pires can be tailored to enhance its character.

In essence, Sta Pires is a collection of contemporary single front doors that successfully blends aesthetics, performance, and practicality. It offers a calm, modern design with clean lines and optional glazing, backed by solid construction, strong security, reliable thermal performance, and low maintenance. If you want your entrance to feel current, refined, and thoughtfully designed – and to keep that impression year after year – Sta Pires is a compelling, future‑ready choice.
